4.2 Data Persistence
Your settings remain on your device until you:

The Extension fetches cryptocurrency price data from CoinGecko's public API:
- Data fetched: Current prices, 24-hour changes, market cap rankings
- No authentication: We use public endpoints that don't require user identification
- No data sent: We only receive data; we don't send any user information

5.2 Binance WebSocket
For real-time price updates, the Extension may connect to Binance's public WebSocket streams:
- Public data only: Receives publicly available price ticker information

Note: These third-party services may collect their own analytics about API usage.
This collection is not associated with individual Extension users and is outside our control.
6. Extension Permissions
The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions, each used solely for the stated purpose:
